Parians are reptilian bipedals (No, they don't have tails.) that stand around 5'6 and 6'4, have scales, pointed teeth, and strong nails. They usually possess a thinner frame than Artugians, but also heal much faster than other races. (Specifically Artugians and Humans)
Religious Beliefs

The Paric Religion, The Way of the Winds, is based around a central figure, who is rarely worshiped. The Maker created everything, and continues to weave the skies into longer threads. He created the world they live in, and the spirits the Paric believe in. The Wind Spirits advise the Paric, these are commonly worshiped by sailors. The Nature Spirits are the trees, the creatures, and the world itself. They are commonly worshiped by hunters. The Darkness, Light, and Sea Spirits all commonly worshiped by those who lead regular lives.

Worship

The Maker - The common ritual is to meditate near a temple. Another (Jonny, you'll like this) is to engage in sexual intercourse with the opposite sex as to show a form of thanks to the Maker for the life he gave.

The Winds - The common worship ritual is to meditate, away from any shrines, or temples as to be open to hear the Wind Spirits as they speak.

Nature - The common ritual is to leave food out at night for any scavengers to consume. This is an apology for killing the land, and creatures in it, and if the food is gone the next morning, as is common, it is believed the apology has been accepted.

Darkness - The worshiper lights a small fire in what would be a dark area, and meditates until it is gone. Afterwards a large fire is lit.

Light - Although this is worshiped almost as rarely as The Maker, when it is, it is often by igniting a single dish of sticks, allowing them to burn.

Sea Spirits - This one requires a small body of water. The worshiper sits (usually wearing only their skin.) in a pool of water, with only the head above, and meditates.

Marriage & Mating:

There is no actual 'Marriage' in Paric society. They mate with a single Parian their whole life. They are not allowed the mate with any other after their first time mating unless their mate dies. Sexual Intercourse related to worship does not tie anyone to another and can be done with those whom are not your mat
Their system of government is an autocratic monarchy with House Revon ruling.

The Creed makes up the bulk of Parian military, but Royal guardsmen, Ostami Hunters, The House Guardians of each of the 30 major houses.
Factions are:

The Creed - A group once only training assassins, the group later started training warriors. Even though the group has been seperated officially from the Patris government, it still makes up the bulk of Patris' military.

The Maliscal - A faction of mages that seek to find the true limits of magicks. They are primarily made of females, seeing as females have a higher aptitude for magic. Males still make up some 21% of the organization's members.

There are three cities that are of notice.

Corpselight, a Bloodborne style city on the Eastern coast overlooking a cliff to the see below. (Think the view from Majula in Dark Souls II) It is a major port city with a large port built out down the cliff.

Mournrise, A city of stone built high into the sky. It's style is more Dwarven from Skyrim.

Dreadwinds, the capital of Patris, The city's entrance is a grand gate with depictions of the greatest leader of Patris, Revon, in silver and gold. The rest of the city is made of metal-like brick and houses the home of the ruler and the home of the mage faction, The Maliscal.

The eldest of each generation receives the name of their House when maturity is reached, being referred to as 'youngling' until that point. Once mature, some can refuse their house name and decide their own name. Those who are not eldest of their generation are named at birth. All Parians have only one name. Revon's son, Jakyl, broke this tradition as was common with Revon.
