but most fae folk do not fall in love easily
some men have heard the legends
that their tears have tremendous healing powers
to capture a fairy you need a net made of silver chain
and a bait of poison berries
since poison berries are so sweet
that fairies cannot resist its taste
you can easily keep them trapped in a bottle with a silver necklace
breaking it to release the fairy
so they lock fairies up in silver cages like birds
having a steady stream of tears
that is not the only thing fairies can do
fairies can change if they choose
becoming pixies
to do this they merely cut their hair
causing them to lose their immortality
and their glow begins to fade leaving a trail of pixie dust behind them
the pixie dust causes the pixies to become mischevious
while on other creatures it grants them flight and the slow of aging
many covet the pixie dust for its life prolonging qualities
you can capture a pixie in a slightly different way
instead of poison berries they are attracted to snowcap mushrooms
somehow the change in becoming mortal
makes them crave something more bland
other than the bait it is the same silver chain net to capture them
unfortunately pixies only last for at most 50 years
another fae race are the elves
these are fairies that have discarded their wings
but retain their immortality
once a fairy loses their wings
they grow to the size of a man
many elves have forgotten their origins
only retaining a fairies love of nature
and weariness of man
elves are immune to silver and cannot be captured the same as fairies
elves also gained an ability to see in darkness
and an ability to craft object out of materials at great speeds
a fourth race of fairy are the leprechauns
these are fairies who fall in love with material things
usually gold or jewels
with their hearts set on gold
and not another person or creature to grant a wish for
the wish to hoard the gold
makes them grow in size to be able to hold it
their long hair grows shorter
and they grow a beard
they shed their wings
leprechauns chase rainbows
burying their treasure at the ends of rainbows
in places that they only know
you must capture a leprechaun to give you wealth
they way to do that is to leave mead out for the leprechaun
you have to patiently wait for the leprechaun to drink its fill of mead
only when the leprechaun is completely drunk can you capture it
otherwise it would be to fast to catch
upon being captured a leprechaun will offer a portion of his treasure for freedom
you must accompany the leprechaun to the rainbows end
otherwise they will disappear
never follow a map from a leprechaun
it will only lead to bad luck

a dysvae is a fairy who gave away their heart
cut their wings and cut their hair
making them human at first
but what causes them to go from a human to a Dysvae
it's the breaking of their heart
the one who held the former fairies heart
is connect by a chain to the fairy
upon breaking the Dysvae's heart
the chain connects to the wrist of the one who the Dysvae's heart belonged
while the other end pierces through a void where the Dysvae's heart was
next from where the butterfly wing used to be
sprout jagged wings of bone
if the Dysvae's heart was broken from death
the Dysvae will be chained to the spot where its loves body lay
any who come into contact with a Dysvae lose their heart
knowing only the sadness the Dysvae knows
if the person lives that broke the Dysvae's heart
then they and all around them are haunted by depression

is to gather Silver, Pixie Dust, Fairy Tears, and a Leprechaun gold nugget
melt them all down in the shape of a heart
